Walters, it’s always been very kind. You helped me through one of the hardest years of my life whether you knew it or not at Stripling in 6th grade. 1998 I believe? My last name was Helm then. I remember you assigning us a project about countries, and I chose Egypt I think. I used what I learned in your class to build my own unit for my students during college. I’ve been teaching for 8 years now, in Oklahoma and Hawaii, and have used projects to inspire my kiddos. Just wanted to tell you what an impact you made on me. Hopefully, one of my students will find me on FB and tell me how I helped them:) Bless you and your family
