Tenise N. Hordge had a successful engineering career in Corporate America, but when she gave birth to her premature baby, her interests changed. In the Newborn Intensive Care Unit, she received a great deal of knowledge about lactation and the benefits for the mother and the child. During the pandemic, her life slowed down, and she focused on her new, discovered passion. Tenise became a certified lactation counselor and launched her business in January. Her mission is to assist women and especially African American women in achieving their lactation goals through awareness, education, confidence, and advocacy.
