Initially, Henry Martinez worked in the field of engineering, but after 10 years, he was lured into the classroom to make a difference in his community. Henry received two certifications, Math 8th-12th Grade and Music K-12. He was certain that he could obtain a position teaching math, but he believed that he would eventually teach music. When the Fine Arts Academy opened in the Grand Prairie Independent School District, he achieved his goal of becoming a music teacher along with being a math teacher. Henry has taught 8th advanced math, Algebra I & II, geometry, classical guitar, music theory, and piano. He works well with secondary students who struggle with math.
