Shani Harris’ business was established out of necessity during the pandemic. She and her family were experiencing domestic violence when she left her children’s father to protect her family. At that time, Shani was working as a lab technician, which became difficult because her children were learning virtually, and she had become a single mom. Her 7-year-old son suggested she start a cleaning business since she enjoyed keeping a clean home. This is when Just Spotless began. Her son created the cleaning plans, and now he asks what plans she sells each day. He is truly a little entrepreneur. The business started in August, and by February, she quit her job and put her blood, sweat, and tears into this business full-time. The snowstorm produced more business because many homeowners needed assistance after the storm. This business has employees that allow them to be flexible with children and schedules. They clean houses, move-outs, air bnbs, and commercial businesses. Also, they will clean at least 1 late-night shift and will assist anyone who needs to leave immediately because of a domestic violence situation.
